Task Details
The mental arithmetic task simply presents participants with mental arithmetic questions
that are taken from a stimuli .csv file. There is some versatility in how you setup the
task. For example you can set different blocks of questions that handle a particular type of
operation (e.g. multiplication) and seperate these out from other questions. This can be of
use if you are using a developing population and are unsure if multiplication/division
questions might skew the results. In addition, you can either set a number of questions that
need to be answered or the more likely option of having a time limit that determines when
to stop executing the task.
